Darcy Bullock, Lyles Family Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue University and Director of the Joint Transportation Research Program, will be giving a presentation organized and hosted by Christopher B. Burke Engineering.

There has been considerable effort over the past decade developing infrastructure based high resolution traffic signal performance measures. Those efforts have been integrated into the USDOT FHWA Every Day Counts initiative and are being widely deployed. This presentation will discuss the infrastructure investments that agencies must make to effectively implement infrastructure-based traffic signal performance measures. In addition, emerging enhanced probe data sources that can provide complimentary performance measures, as well as new capabilities will be introduced. The presentation will also include several case studies that agencies can use to identify investments in both infrastructure and probe data sources.
